Into Dimensions

from Morning Epilogue by Trees of December

/

about

Those nights where I can't fall asleep. Counting sheep doesn't work, and when I do start to doze off I wake up from the sensation of falling. This makes me not want to sleep. It's a horrible feeling.

When in slumber, I'll have dreams of traveling through various dimensions of space. The area surrounding me then caves in and I become claustrophobic. Because it is a dream, I feel alone. I am toughened from undergoing this process nights at a time.

lyrics

"Into Dimensions"

Funnel of fumes inside.
Count the sheep only one time.
Wake up while falling into dimensions.

I'll tear my eyes out before I fall asleep.
Goodnight it's lights out.
Good for nothing sheep.

Settle your eyes.
Make no mistake here,
you will not win here.

All this space is claustrophobic.
I need time for my next opponent
It's always your way.

Feeling so alone,
no one will weep.
I can't control this toughened skin.
And I had to listen to you speak.
All you have is nothing more I seek.
